This is the Competition Portal for the
Southern California Council of Camera Clubs (S4C).
S4C conducts six competitions between October and April. You must be a current member of an S4C club to enter any competition. If you already have a member account, click on the Login button, located at the top right of the screen just below the S4C logo. Then, select "Competitions" and then "Submit Images to a Competition." If you are an S4C member wishing to compete and you do not have a user account already, you must submit a membership request. See our guide on how to create a user account for instructions.
We have added a new competition section this year: Photo Travel - World in Focus. Images in this section include all typical photo travel genres, but also allows for setups. The PSA website describes a World in Focus image as one that "expresses the spirit of an era, the essence of a place or of a culture whether it is shown in an authentic scene or whether it is arranged." Yes, arranged or posed images are acceptable for submission in World in Focus. See the PSA description for World in Focus for details. Also, the judge's guide (pg 9 editing techniques pg 14 examples) may be useful for better understanding.
