S4C Competitions are open to all members of S4C member clubs. This page contains links to the important information that current or potential members need to enter competitions. 

Entrants should familiarize themselves with the Competition Requirements (see below).

Each year, six competitions are held between October through April (see Schedule) in three Divisions: Pictorial, Nature, and Photojournalism. Within each Division are one or more Sections: a separate competition is held for each Section. See Competition Definitions for the requirements for each Section. Awards and HMs are awarded at different Skill Levels.

An End of Year Competition is also held.

Schedule

  • Six S4C competitions are held between October of one year and April of the following year. They are judged remotely over the Internet. Close of judging is normally the second Saturday of the competition month.

The closing date/time for entries into a given month's competition is normally 11:59 PM on the first Saturday of the competition month. Check Schedule for specific details.
